Reunion 2005
Here are some uncaptioned photos from the reunion. The first bunch are the ones the professional photographer took of us rafting. Then there’s a set of 4 from a picnic Beth and I took at RMNP. The rest are of the reunion weekend.

Location: Buena Vista, Colorado (actually Johnson Village)
Lodging:
A Bed on the Arkansas B&B - we will have all 4 bedrooms reserved, giving us exclusive use of the kitchen, hot tub, living room, BBQ grills, deck, etc.
- Arkansas Room - reserved by Deb
- The Cozy Nest - reserved by Todd
- The Princeton Room - reserved by Betty
- The Trout Creek Room - reserved by Matt
Buena Vista KOA - This is the nicest campground in the area, for those who prefer staying in a camper. Also, they have some tiny 1-room cabins without kitchens or bathrooms, which is an option.
Other lodging options: Adobe Inn B&B, Super 8 Motel

Friday July 8
everyone arrives and gets settled in
1:00 PM potluck lunch at the house - here are your food assignments:
- Deb, Rick, Dawn, Jessica: drinks
- Matt, Rachel, Kristina, Elliott: desserts
- Ernie, Betty, Kent: main dish(es)
- Todd, Beth: side dishes (and also help with drinks)

Saturday July 9
Adventure Track
- breakfast at the house unless the pancake breakfast starts early enough
White water rafting - the “AV Special” trip by Arkansas Valley Adventures - Please arrive at AVA Outpost by 9:15 AM. We have reservations for:

- Jess
- Dawn
Non-Adventure Track
- pancake breakfast in Buena Vista’s Columbine Park, followed by the Western Parade at 10 AM
- antiques shopping and gallery hopping in Salida
- fishing in the Arkansas River
- visit Mountain Spirit Winery
6:00 PM BBQ dinner at the house
- everyone bring their own grillables
- Betty is bringing lots of hamburger buns and condiments
- Todd is bringing baked beans and whatever else he thinks of
games and stuff

Sunday July 10
Adventure Track
- very early breakfast on your own
- climb Mt. Princeton (elevation: 14,197 feet)
- soak and possibly lunch at Mt. Princeton Hot Springs
Non-Adventure Track
- hike in the Collegiate Peaks Wilderness
- soak in the Cottonwood Hot Springs (our personal favorite) or Salida Hot Springs
- fishing or whatever else people want to do
6:30 PM dinner at the Buffalo Bar & Grill or Casa del Sol
Monday July 11
9:00 AM “Sunday Brunch” on Monday morning, at the house
- Betty: egg, sausage, and hash browns dish
- Todd: milk and OJ
- Deb: bread (bagels, toast, etc.)
everyone packs up and heads home
